Thought for Today

Today I heard about the passing of a dear friend. I have so many good memories of her. I rememeber spending so much time at her families home making pizza.  With her I learned to drink iced tea. When I got married in Michigan she drove all the way from New York to the wedding. It was not around the corner as they say.
I remember the day I left Tambo in 1979. She was the last person I said goodbye to and remembered her tears. I never cried when we graduated nor did I cry at the wailng wall. But I did cry when I said goodbye to her that day. What a great lady and what a great family. Will miss our talks we would have . Miss you already.

  1. What an interesting but sad story, I guess no one can beat the clock, a friends uncle who already passed away use to say time is mans worst enemy and fighting against time is a never ending battle.

  2. One of my favorite Rolling Stones song is "Time Waits for No-one".
It's very true. I was reminded though of something even sadder the other day that was from a qoute by some famous author who said that probably the saddest words that could ever be said are "what might have been".
To live a life of regrets and could have beens or might have done or should have done is something we will probably one day regret ,yet hope to a lesser degree than most.
